What it is

A facial built around cleansing, gentle exfoliation and brightening-focused products, finished with moisturiser and advice on sun protection. It is aimed at the look of dullness and uneven tone, the complaint people usually describe as tired skin.

It is a spa facial, not a medical treatment. What it addresses is how the surface of the skin looks and feels.

What to expect

First we look at your skin and ask about it: what you use at home, what has irritated you before, anything you are currently being treated for. We choose the products from there, not from a fixed script.

Most people leave slightly pink and looking brighter for a short time. Sun protection afterwards matters more than usual. Brightening work and unprotected sun exposure pull in opposite directions.

What it will not do

One facial does not remove pigmentation, melasma or sun damage. Those sit deeper than a spa facial reaches, and anyone promising otherwise is overselling. If that is what you are after, the honest next step is a clinical assessment, not a course of facials.
